Connecting to your direction of what you've come to do. That's the inspiration you're gonna get from today's episode of Discerning News. Are you guys ready? Yes, I'm ready for the direction. The direction. Well, how about you, Tom? I'm ready. okay. Well, it's interesting because the first story that we're gonna chat about and give some spiritual perspectives on is about some of the leaders in the communist area.

So I saw a report, a news report that says this coming week, upcoming week, the North Korean President Kim Jong-un, Xi from China and Putin from Russia are all gathering to celebrate the victory celebration in China of the surrender of Japan from World War Two. So when I saw this, was, for some reason just kind of popped in. was like, wow, there's something really big about this.

This connection, this what's happening. And then I started kind of tuning in spiritually. So I'd love to get your guys's insights and impressions on why and why is this seem to be like a, a big, it's a big deal. And spiritually. Yeah, I, my, my inspiration or my discernment on that is, comes down to the energy of direction. You brought it up right at the opening. So

When there is a focus, there is a rudder to a ship, there's a lot of different things that can start happening that are much more positive and challenging, but it's the direction that really identifies the life really. So to be specific, here you have a group that are not naturally together there. 

I if you know the history of that area and all that kind of stuff, these are not a, this is not a group that naturally wants to come together. There's more repelling energy there than there is attractive energy there. So when there is a common denominator, when there is something that people are all going in the same direction for, then all of a sudden there can be these alliances. There can be where

Normally I don't hang out with Bob, but you know, we're kind of having to build this building. And so we're going to hang out together for right now. And so the power of direction, just cleans up so much moral issues. It cleans up so much history of who struck John and you you did this and I did that. It starts cleaning a lot of that up because we need to, I need to get from here to there.

And I'm willing to work with people in order to get there. So that energy of direction for me is the key. And what strikes me is, ⁓ you know, the common denominator that I have with my spiritual helpers or my angels. And, ⁓ you know, that when I found out about, you know, what they did in their last incarnation and some of their, ⁓ know, strengths, hobbies, where they, where they came from and so forth.

You know, my initial assumption was like, well, I must have, you know, known them or something, but it could be that, you know, there's just some stellar qualities or masterful qualities they have that I'm working with them. And how important it is for me to, ⁓ in fact, it's better than, know, the situation we're talking about. There's a sincere need to be, ⁓ have that growth together and move forward spiritually together. So they're involved because they love it.

you know, they're enjoying it, it's ⁓ fulfilling for them and it moves them forward and it's fulfilling for me and it moves me forward. But we get to see glimpses of how all that works. And really, the truth is, is that all the souls here on planet Earth, whether it sounds so loving and airy fairy, but get ready for it. You know, we're all we all have that combined mission that we're here to learn and grow spiritually. And ⁓ one way that I steer clear of the moral issues, because my

upbringing here in the United States in the era that I grew up is, oh, these bad actors are all aligning together. But the truth is, is they're all just souls that are experiencing, you know, certain situations. And there's going to be some spiritual involvement in growth one way or the other. So maybe the full scope of their purpose aligned together, we wouldn't consider it.

You could get involved in a moral issues argument, but really at the core of the experience, they're involved in, they're still evolving. Yeah. And that's what I have to say about that at this point. Feels like, yeah. I like the way you talked about with the, know, relating it to like our spiritual helpers, because there is something energetically about this, these three coming together. And again, if you stay out of the moral issues or the look who they are,

And just go wow there there's a big energy happening here and it's you know in a celebration situation Around you know the well of course the end of World War two So that's also a really positive thing, but I'm sure in their viewpoint. It's a whole different It's different than what me being an American looks at you know in that sense, but Recognizing that these three souls are coming together at this time Especially when it feels to me like there's a lot of different

connections happening around the world. whether or not, what's the outcome of just, I mean, it's a celebration, like they're coming together to go, let's World War III on all your guys. It's not like that at all. It's just, or I don't think it is. It's just a celebration time. But it's also something of being seen because Kim Jong-un, this is the first time he's been out of North Korea to be with other people.

So that's something big too, where he's coming out to actually be around other big leaders with big energies to do something. So, I mean, we're going to have a whole separate podcast just for the upcoming spiritual year, which is really important, I think, for people to hear and get themselves ready and be a part of. But I think this is related to that. That's why I'm bringing it up. This coming...

energy wave or this next step that we have that we're in is really going to be a lot about pioneering and individual leadership, moving forward. And that's, you know, the phrase is spear of inspiration. You know, it's that tip of the spear kind of feeling. And what I wanted to make the point on, on this little spot here is that when I have direction, when you have direction, even if it's not the perfect one,

Right. Let's say I'm trying to get here to there and I'm a little bit off. The moment I move into direction, there are sometimes things that can rally against me because it's different than what people are used to. And if I maintain my energy, if I maintain myself going in some place, what happens is all I have to do is just hold fast.

staying forward, staying focused, step by step and the naysayers and the opposition, whatever the, the energy is that doesn't want to help me move forward. is helping me move forward actually, but on the outside, feels negative. If I maintain it, what happens is because I don't veer off my direction and give them life by

Indulging in all of the moral issues and the rights and wrongs. And we were talking about that before we got started. The moment I don't do that and I stay on course, all their energy starts dropping. It starts getting less and less and less. And they, the, the, the, naysayers that have teamed up to go against me, something magic happens. They start having to deal with each other. Right.

And, and so they don't have that common denominator anymore to gang up on me. So, and I think maybe other people can relate to this, but I know for myself, I've had situations in my life where I became the focal point of situations because I was getting from point A to point B and you know, people were saying, ⁓ whether it was legal things or

whether it was physical things or just trying to do business. It's the feeling is like, God, people are against me. My family or my friends or, you know, my once great friends are now against me, this kind of thing. And the moment I, the reality is when I stay the course, when I just stay moving all of a sudden, I don't realize it, but in the background, I don't give them life. I don't give them energy.

because my energy is going toward what I need and want. So the more I stray off of what I came to do in my direction in life, my purpose, my abundance, my family, my energy, right? The more I stray from that, the more I'm going to give other people energy and life. So that's the one note for me on this particular area. Thomas? Well, there was a lot there.

I guess what strikes me was as you were both sharing is how even in my daily environments, my work environments, know, disparate, desperate, disparate interests, different interests, know, different people are lying to come and have experiences and, you know, the similar environment that I'm in. And ⁓ what are the positive things about some of the work I've been doing lately is that, boy, everybody is very different, but yet.

there is this common denominator of their ability to communicate, they want to be of service and so forth. And to me, that's when we have diversity in the positive form, is that just accepting that others may look different, but if that service vibration and that concern or true concern is there and a willingness to get involved is there, then it's great to work with people in teamwork.

I think in the bigger picture, you know, the story we're talking about, like, it'll be interesting to see if they remain aligned over time, because I, I like how you brought up that Teresa that you felt, ⁓ or what I'd like to highlight is you said, you know, I just saw the story. And without knowing much about it, there, you feel your sensitivity, you know, the, natural psychic sensitive you are, you go, there's, something big about this.

And, know, from the positive point of view, it's just, bringing people together and say, Hey, we did do something together. Once we all help, you know, when in the second world war, because they, ⁓ they did, you know, and they weren't, that was, ⁓ there was a United front against that. So, ⁓ you know, and if they get organized, then we need to even be organized as well.

you know, and I guess the level of truth, sincerity or concern in you might say, ⁓ what's meant is the righteous, you know, path is that, you know, sincere effort to be of service to move from that love, ⁓ that positive force that will always ⁓ when I live in that flow,

I can really move mountains in my life. You know, that's what I'm saying. And so we see other people going through it. ⁓ One of the things I was going to, should I keep sharing or do you want to move on to something else? ⁓ yeah. One little, I want to say a little more about this one. I have a feeling like, cause I have, I can add a little something about what I was putting together this week, but go ahead. Yeah. I guess the part that's really, I'm getting an insight about is that how I look at everything now is just a game.

the game of life. And so when I saw that this new story, you know, I didn't first go, I wasn't filled with fear, like, my God, there's three communist leaders coming together to celebrate this, you know, their win in the World War Two, or, you know, that aspect of it. I just was like, that is so interesting. Like you're saying, Tom, is a feeling. And I think that's a big perspective of, know, whenever we see anything out in the world going on,

for myself, if I can keep that ability that this is only a game and what part in it am I playing and what part are others playing and just that inquisitive almost, I'm gonna say it, almost childlike. I was just like, what is going on there? And I'm not obviously directly involved with those leaders and going to the celebration and all that, but there's something that was just intriguing about it and that really, that's what kind of brings it back to me is, ⁓

is that recognizing everything is just a game and just what part are we all playing in it and how am I emotionally or not emotionally ⁓ influenced by it, by the fear or by the that's just intriguing. That's the way I went with it versus, my God, I'm so scared because the three leaders, they got the buttons and they got the, no, it's like interesting. Almost like I see the game of life in front of me and it's like,

So those three leaders got into one of little cars and now they're moving forward and all they're going over the mountain and all they're putting some babies in the bag. Remember the game of life where you have, you have your mom and dad and then, know, you build the build from there, the board game, the old board game. Yeah. So that's kind of how I see it as a game of life. ⁓ protection and direction. Yeah. And, ⁓ see what I was going to share a little bit about was how, ⁓ you know, I notice how

I can let those kinds of stories, you know, throw me off my track or, ⁓ Jesus, this still going on here and that's still going on there. What's, know, and it can, it can keep me from minding my own business. And that's where I think, you know, what I've been regrouping a lot lately is that, you know, it's important to be informed because I'm, I'm maneuvering in this environment and I'm aware of what's happening, but you know, ⁓

I, my life right now is great. You know, I have wonderful people in my life. have great opportunities and there's some challenges, but, uh, so I don't have, you know, that's, that's the moment in time that I'm in. So I'm not going to rush towards the moment in time when the tornado strikes a house or whatever. It's never going to strike the house, but we live in the Midwest.

I think that what I'm beginning to realize is like, I just have confidence that I will arise to the occasion, that I will move through the challenges. I have enough of that confidence. ⁓ And maybe you can call that hope and faith, but that we can, as long as I'm in that positive mindset, looking to be of service, certainly want to plan for the future and be concerned enough that I take the necessary actions.

whatever insurances you need or whatever we can deal with in the physical world. But not letting take all my attention. I think the whole week for me has been about noticing when I have little thought habits, almost like that I want to go down a path of thoughts and emotions to keep me entertained, you might say, or to escape.

what I'm involved with or something like that. And I think the real funny little secret about it all is if I really just relax and tune into my true feelings, even if it's not something I like or I want to hear about in what I'm dealing with other people is like, well, what's what are my true feelings about this? If I and I, I more and more I'm challenging myself to just be in that habit. Change the habit from going off into the mental

emotional gymnastics or the thoughts or the emotional thrills of something and go back to or fighting a battle in my mind about it, you know, the unfairness, but just go back to what are my true feelings? Well, you know, the true feelings I have about this situation is that person is just learning about being a manager, that person's learning about ⁓ being involved in running projects. So just stay relaxed if I

you know, and what's my part? How can I be of service in this scenario? That communist leaders is learning about coming together with other communist leader and being friends. Yeah, like, I guess we go back full circle to something that I'd said earlier. And, you know, but there is that that healing and clarity and that common denominator of, you know, working together or feeling a kinship. And from there, we can move, we can build more.

can build more positivity. Yeah. mean, for closing for me on this particular one is the, if I'm not on board with my ship and sailing in the direction I need to be sailing, and I'm using that as a metaphor that there's never anything right. I will not find any magic key. There will be no magic pill.

I'll be consumed by trying to look for everything outside of me when there's no answers there. Right. It all becomes temporary. I'll, I'll, I'll relax because I got this massage or, I got some money. So now I can relax, you know, until the next thing. And then I'm back in the same scenario. But the moment I'm, I'm on my path and I'm clear about what that is, even if I don't have all the details.

I don't have to have all the details, just am I clear about what I need? Am I clear about what I want? And I'm willing to adjust those as I learn more and become wiser, right? I have experiences and bumps on my head get wiser, but the more I know what I need and want that becomes pure direction because it, can navigate and do all those things that the beautiful thing, the two of you are sharing about being able to see things from a bigger picture.

not getting caught up in moral issues. To me, that's all about just me being clear about where I begin and end, knowing where I go. I want to go, need to go and starting on the path. That's it. Cause there is no perfection. It's such a manipulation game in my head. It's made my head. It's not out there. It's in my head. Someday I'm going to have a boss. That's I'm going to have this perfect person or the

perfect car or the perfect amount of money. ⁓ if money is good, then more money is better. You have more money problems if you guys if you don't have yourself organized you get more money problems. I guess it's the right problem to have right? But yeah, the point is is that there's so much that can be adjusted and fixed and alliances that were once enemies all these kinds of things if I'm clear with my purpose.

If I'm clear with what I need in one, everything works out one way or another, whether it takes two seconds, two minutes, two years, whatever it will happen. There is no question about it. There's just no question. And anything that moves in to make me think that there's other than that is some doubt created by confusion.

Let's talk about an American leader. Yeah. We're going to move into the Swift effect. So I saw an article this week about Taylor Swift. She's got a new documentary or thing coming up that's going to it's called the Swift effect. And so I wanted to really chat a little bit about the ⁓

the direction and the connection that she has inspired so many people around the world by her and her energy. Yeah, this is a glad you brought this one up too, because it does fall right in line with that energy of of the direction for our podcast. And to me, I'd say I would talk about the word niche. I'll say the word niche, right? ⁓ The more I stay on my path and I keep going,

I, by default, start to find where I fit. Right. There's an old saying that if I'm, if I'm having more, ⁓ up days than down days, then I'm doing pretty good. just need to refine a little bit. Right. But if I'm having more down days than up days, then I need to start adjusting. need to start moving left, right up or down until I find where my niche is. And why that's so potent and powerful is because when I.

For me, when I align my purpose, the feeling of what I've come to do in this life with an opportunity, with a job, with doing something where I can be of service to people, that is where I get ⁓ orders of magnitude, extra backing or exponential growth as it's referred to because now I'm getting the

my own backing and I'm reaching my own potential. I'm on that path. And so I get all this extra support and backing from my, universe and my spiritual helpers and all this kind of thing, because they can share with me at that level because I'm at that level. If, if you can imagine that trying to share calculus with a 10 year old, it's not going to work out so well. You have, they're not raised to that level of understanding yet.

So when I'm working with my niche, I'm starting to rise up to a higher vibration and a higher energy. And so I get all that extra backing. And now that I've got that backing, when I'm at service with that, when I'm helping people with that, now I've got the backing of other people who need that service or who want to be a part of that. So now that that's what I mean by orders of magnitude, it starts doubling. It just starts doubling because I have something to offer.

I'm in my niche. I'm doing what I want to do. I'm loving it. Right. And it just, the magnetic force of that just attracts more and more. And then other things happen. This is the, the, the Taylor Swift thing is that they're saying that there's this whole economy now happening because of people buying t-shirts and then the stadiums are filled and the cars are getting rented and the hotels are getting bought.

You know, so there's this thing that happens in the positive way. If I just stay on my target, if I just stay in my thing and not let myself get pulled off. What strikes me about it is that, you know, she, I doubt that she'd even be aware. No, she didn't set out to go. I want to help the hotels. You know, I want to fill in the stadiums.

She just thought about what she wanted, what she felt she wanted to do. And, you know, she excels at, at that. The other thing that strikes me is that every generation's got these folks that seem to incarnate to lead the way and, you know, get involved in following their, their niche and their thrust. Now, I'm, I'm sure she's aware of the extras that of that whole

thing that she magnetizes to different areas, people around her, the effect. Yeah, I'm sure she's somewhat aware of it because it's too well known, you know, but it's wasn't probably her initial purpose wasn't to create all that, right, that positive, you know, growth around her. Her purpose was just to live her thrust or be in the work that she loves. And obviously she's

you know, perfected it and worked hard at it and or consistent at it. You know, she's probably loved every minute of it. Most of mostly even when she wasn't loving it, she loved it. She loved that she wasn't she was doing it, you know. So ⁓ I guess those are some of my thoughts about it was. Yeah, I think for myself, it's finding people that inspire others is so inspirational. And I think that's the thing that really when I see someone like her,

or other leaders or even the world leaders, right? Like if they're inspirational people that come across and inspire through their music or the words they say, that is something that can really spark the flame within other people and get other people excited about living life. Because I mean, there's so much here on the challenges, the obstacles, the successes, the things that we can celebrate every single day that happens in our life.

But seeing someone really inspire so many in the mass of people that just again, like you're saying it, like reverberates. It's an echo. It, you know, it sends out energy that I think that's why I really was inspired by this, this sharing for this one, as well as the last one too, because those three leaders also have an energy around them. So whether or not it's, you know, the energy of communism or American or whatever, but it's that bigger energy that

can inspire all of us to really live life fully and really be in our energy and in our, you know, our, our spiritual thrust and what we're here to be an expression of whether or not you're, you know, cleaning houses for somebody or you're in a stadium filled with 50 million people, not really million, but 50,000, you know, finding people that can inspire you to be the best you can be is really what inspired me for this one.

Yeah, I'll add to that. That's great. That is great. The thing I'll add to that is the is the word opportunity. And on the shoulders of giants, I see further. So every so often, we have people like this, this Taylor Swift, and you know, the Rolling Stones or Elvis or, know, whoever, right, you just have it, they come in waves and things. But the great thing about it is, there's

We don't, we have a lot of leaders, but they're not prolific. mean, there's, it's not as abundant as at different times of history. Like there was a certain time in a couple of years ago, more than a couple of years ago. Now it seemed like we had all these bands and all these entertainers that were just hitting the charts. Right. And then it starts to shrink a bit. And then you start having only a few that are spearheading the situation.

And then what that does is it lets things open up for the next group to come up the next wave of group. And so my, my methodology for going down that path is recognizing that if any one of us have a dream, if any one of us has a need, a niche to be fulfilled, now's the time. Because those

This is what's right. Makes it ripe for the rest of the people to follow in the wake of someone who's pushing through at this time of the century, this time of this decade, et cetera. They cut through and it makes it easier for things to come behind. It's it is one last thing on that. There was even this, ⁓ I suppose some of you may have heard about this is there was this guy who started singing. He would just sound like

YouTube, he just started singing himself and he was happened to be, I guess, talking on Joe Rogan or something. And all of a sudden he just started getting big. Everybody started downloading his song. Right. And he, he, all these people started calling him like, Hey, you got to get the agent come with me and I'll get you on tour and the whole thing. And so he kind of, this is new. He's freaking out like, Oh my God, all this attention. And so he calls up the Rogan guy and, and the Rogan's guy, don't do that. Don't do that.

Just keep singing on YouTube, just organize it so that people can invest in you. no, but they say I need, I need to get the, and that I need to get a tour manager and again, don't do that. You don't need that. You already have the exposure. My point for bringing it up is we live in a very different world than 50 years ago. And now the opportunity is there. I know I'm talking a little bit much, but

I come back home to that energy of niche. There is so much more opportunity that is now and going forward that there's less and less excuses for me. Don't talk about anybody else for me to go do what I need to do. There's more people, there's more opportunity than I can handle personally. So all I got to do is just start doing my thing.

I guess what strikes me is, is, know, in what ways do I hold myself back from that? And as I was sharing earlier, I was becoming aware of the, ⁓ the thought habits that I had, you know, and I'm not saying these are negative thought habits are just sort of thought habits and ways I distract myself from, you know, what's going on. And, and instead of just working with what, where my feelings are at, or what's, what's my opportunity now. And

As I unfold that more and more, I have this inkling like, that really opens up that power of attracting opportunities and attracting the success. And ⁓ really the success for me is just being involved in the things that I love to do and with people and in, ⁓ you know, having them having my needs met. And it's not like a big grandiose thing.

But you know, that power of attraction, I'm sure we've all been in the right place at the right time and set a goal. Many of us and said, you know, I'd like to see this again. I'm going to set that goal. And I did it recently in a business opportunity that I'm involved with. And it did show up within like a week. The thing, the little, was a, I wanted to get mentioned some recognition. And I, so I said, okay, that's my goal. I'm to be really good, be of service, not be distracted, not be bored. Just

be of service and enjoy my interactions with people and then it showed up. And so fast that I go, holy smokes, I magnetized that to myself. But I did my half to you know, I did my 50%. I showed up and I practiced and I wanted what I was involved with the flow easy and feel better and smoother as I moved through it, but be competent in what the service was that I was offering. So you know, really a balance between the feeling the flow

and the love of service and being involved with what facts do I need to be sharing with people? is the intellectual part of it? you know, life is really, I wish I knew this when I was younger. But you know, many of us are dangerous. Yeah, many of us have been, you know, raised with concepts to hold our ways to hold ourselves back fear from, you know, the fear or somebody else's fear we pick up in those first seven years.

And, ⁓ you know, that, ⁓ you know, you can't, shouldn't, you know, fear of success kind of a thing, you know, and not in a big way, even just in little ways. So often we look now at the commonalities of what we've shared today. So what's the commonality between Kim Jong-un, Putin, Xi and Taylor Swift? Well, to wrap it up in some of the common denominators, I'd say that the need for

My having my personal direction, my business direction, my social direction, clear is more important than ever. Right between now and next couple weeks, whatever. I would say that that's really critical to seeing the things that are going on. Let's make sure that I am clean and clear with where I want to need to go. And then the second part of that would be that

There is protection in that direction that how many things I avoid that I may never know that I may never know the things that I've got because I stay on track, right? I don't listen to the naysayers, even if they're people that I love like, okay, well, thank you for your opinion. Right? That's the key thing to remember. You know, we were talking about other stories that we could talk about.

In the end, if I come back down to really what, what is my thing? Everything else is an opinion. It's an opinion. So my wrap up is that there's protection and direction. Come back home to what I need to do. want to do and organize myself with the next three steps, not organize myself for some big fancy thing. That's what we're talking about with the Taylor Swift thing. Like all the extra.

the swift effect or, my gosh, all these leaders are getting together and it's going to be world war three. No, let me organize myself for the next step. Maybe another step after that. If I'm a little bit more organized and things will unfold to me, which is the nature of the best of the best. I'm using my, my organized part to get some steps going and I'm allowing spirit and the bigger picture to come into my life to.

fill and imbue everything that I'm doing with life. You know, for many of us who work in the spiritual, you know, business, you might say, or in work and so forth, and many people who listen to us, you know, are involved in that kind of work. And that phrase, protection and direction really, you know, rings clear to me because I am sensitive. And if I get off from my direction and

dabble in other thoughts or almost like indulge in some emotional BS in my head kind of a thing like, they should have, you know, and, ⁓ no, I feel, know, ⁓ whereas my true feelings are like, ⁓ that's really none of my business. I'm, just here to do this, you know, and there's, it's, I think the other word is refinement, you know, that for ⁓ folks who have interest in what we're sharing about,

and have that sensitivity. Remember, you've accomplished a lot. I've accomplished a lot. I'm just working on some refinements. ⁓ yeah, and ⁓ I'm open to the possibilities as they unfold. Yeah, and I guess my wrap up is about the connection. Being able to see people out in the world making connections.

and inspiring people to come together for celebrations, come together for music, come together for art or whatever it is. But that inspires me to know that whatever I desire to connect and you might desire to connect listeners and watchers that it can be accomplished. Without a doubt, all you have to do is just like we're talking about today, just know your direction and what you want to accomplish and

move with that backing of energy and your spiritual helpers that can support you.
