The hosts discuss working "soul to soul," emphasizing the need to leave personal "likes and dislikes" at the door for fulfilling service. They explore how "preferences" are okay in social but can get in the way, particularly in spiritual and professional contexts. The impact of ideology and dogma on spiritual theory is examined, highlighting the right to tune into your own inner wisdom base on your true feelings.  The conversation also touches on the being aware of emotional reactions versus your responding from your true feelings for connecting with diverse individuals on a soul to soul level. The episode concludes with reflections on the fulfillment and personal growth found through service fostering an inner enthusiasm for your life.

Enthusiastically speaking, oftentimes the interactions that we have with other people and the ways we go about communicating sometimes can maybe not feel like we're speaking soul to soul. So today I thought it'd be a good time to take some moments and just share a little bit about working soul to soul and leaving likes and dislikes at the door. Sounds good. Working soul to soul. like that. What does that mean to you, Tom?

What that means to me is, you know, tune into my feelings as to how I can be of service. And, you know, likes and dislikes, they sometimes can keep us from communicating with people or being involved in projects or activities that we don't prefer. And when it comes to my social life, likes and dislikes are okay, you know, and it's all part of the social banter back and forth kind of a thing. But when I'm in business,

And if I'm in the business of being me, you know, a soul here to learn and grow, my spiritual work, so to speak, is to be of service, you know, and actually, the reason I like that is because there's a lot of fulfillment in it. But I find, you know, I can get stimulated by, know, oh, I don't like how they look, or I don't want to be in that place, or I don't want to get up that early, or whatever my little preferences, you might say, can keep me from, you know,

really learning and growing and cut me off from fulfillment. And I love feeling fulfilled. And what really stimulated this conversation today for myself was that recently I was looking on Facebook and I came across a workshop and it was a workshop around the throat chakra. And I said, wow, it just really all of sudden I felt that would probably be something good because I'm coming into teaching a whole week of trans healing courses soon.

and speaking in front of people and just being more confident with the throat chakra and moving any blockages or whatever that was going to go on. I thought that'd be a cool thing. So I read a little bit into it and right at the beginning, this person mentions Donald Trump and mentions the fact that we are in hard times. And it just kind of hit me. I was like, what in the world? I mean, even if this person said Biden in hard times, mean, irregardless of where

I'm like, why would someone bring politics into the first part of, know, of what they're writing about for their workshop? unless, yeah, there's something there. So that stimulated me. So when that got me stimulated a little bit and I'm like, no, I'll pass on that because you know, I don't want to be in a place where the first thing they talk about is politics and versus going into the throat chakra and working soul to soul with somebody. So I, have this book called true feelings, the center of your world. And one of these

little paragraphs I want to read because it really emphasizes a bit about what I what came up in me. And this it says, Remember always as you are growing, that everyone has the right to say anything he wants to say. It is his state of consciousness speaking. If that bothers you, you'd better go back to the beginning and start all over again. Cool. and I read that I'm like, Okay.

I'm working on, I'm constantly working on myself and doing my own, my own unfolding, but holy crap. Yes. So when a dislikes or likes of someone else's and what their, what their consciousness is speaking about, if that stimulates me, I've got something to look at. Wow. Well, it's a great awareness. It sure is. And it's also an awareness that sometimes I don't want to look at.

Well, something that I like is that you, you know, you didn't get involved in whether you were you thought that their their comment was appropriate, or you didn't go off on this, my God, why are they, you know, it was more like, ⁓ I'm really stimulated. I can't accept, you know, I'm not there's not accepting that. And just, you know, still feeling cool, calm and collected about it, you know, and

How can I be of service or is this for me or whatever it is? Yeah, I think you're exactly right. Because like even if it was about say religion or something else that I'm like, you know, I'm just, I don't need to go there because I'm not in that same realm of the people that might attract to this. Like this person. I mean, they're going to attract people who think that we are in hard times and people that are, you know, maybe

for me, it seems more like maybe a victim like, okay, I'm a victim of hard times and all that's going on. And Donald Trump's the president, yada, yada, yada. And so I just don't need to play in that field. That's also where I went to with this because of the fact that, but clearly, you know, I, I chose not to go down that road because of what this person wrote. And I thought it was interesting in the fact of, you know, leaving out politics, leaving out religion, leaving out, you know, whatever other

stuff's going on and the collective, you know, ⁓ what I want to say the collective turmoil. I'm actually doing a was doing like a pot. was like stirring a pot, whatever stirring up people right now. That's a good way to put it. Yeah. Whatever stirring people up. When I think that's like, even when we do our classes online, you know, we don't say, Hey, you know, this person or that event or religion or

It's about soul to soul bringing people forth where they're at, what they've got going on and not judging or not, but really not putting it out there like, okay, well we're, we're Biden supporters or we're Donald Trump supporters or we're, know, and, come in, you know, come in and work with us in the hard time. So it's, yeah, I guess I'm making sense. sure. I mean, you know, there's a lot of spiritual people that, you know, still have a religious bent about their spiritual awareness.

So it's, it's almost like a higher, another level of dogma and another level of, yeah, we're suffering, you know, that we're, that, we're, we're suffering. need to, you know, not hard times and all that. So, ⁓ you know, and there's some truth in it. I mean, people are going to be uncomfortable with certain ideologies or people's style or ways of looking at things. You know, I have my preferences. I have my likes and dislikes and

in terms of political systems or ideas that I feel resonate, I resonate with more, you know, for me, it's more about freedom and individual responsibility and my self responsibility. You know, I always think about being like a four or five year old go, no, I want to do it myself, you know, kind of a vibe. Right. So, but you know, I've got to accept that not all the people that we work with

There's lots of folks who, you know, believe they have that their soul and that they have spiritual helpers or angels that guide them through and help them live their spiritual thrust in life and unfold their awareness. And they also have ideologies, you know, which is really just concepts in the intellect, you know, they have an interpretation to a feeling. And sometimes those, you know, express themselves as emotions that interpretation.

In our world, though, we tend to focus on the emotion and and back into the intellect and to the emotion, rather than just moving with that flow of feel. What do I truly feel? Respect myself enough to know that I have the inner wisdom. I have the inner power and the feeling that loving positive vibration and interpret that and then move forward with action and come back to my feeling.

Yeah. And I guess the thing that stimulates me to about this is that there's a lot of people doing spirituality or metaphysics or whatever, ⁓ self-improvement that do bring in their own preferences into like this person did. She brought in her preferences of, know, the political thing and, and how she feels about where we're at, you know, with hard times right now. And like you're saying, Tom, what I hear you saying is that

you know, yeah, there might be there are people that are having hard times. And there are lot of things going on the planet. But for myself, it's, it's a I guess a lot of it too, is that I just don't, I don't resonate with it. I really don't. And, you know, I, think, if you're interested in politics, for example, you're the example that gave was, you know, the political environment, you might say, and great work in that area.

you know, do your work and be involved in it and stay detached from some of the games that you'll find in that area. But I guess when we focus on our emotions, we're really just focusing on the intellect and concepts we have. If I tune back into my true feelings, you know, it allows me to kind of gain some altitude, rise above what's going on so that I can be more aware of what I came to do in my day to day life, you know, which is

And religion has a lot of answers. It's all about love and peace and, ⁓ you know, love your neighbor as yourself kind of a thing and ⁓ realize there's a bigger picture. There's the universe or God, there's different names for the same thing. So you know, I've often said we fight over our intellectual interpretation, the feeling is the common thing. We just express it differently. And emotions are great because they do communicate where I'm at.

but it's a manipulative technique for people to, in my opinion, it's a manipulative technique when spiritual people utilize those kinds of things, emotional triggers, you might say, to get you to explore your spiritual side of life. And then I go, you know, you just sound like another religion. Now you're back to, you know.

we all need to be afraid, you might go to hell, you know, all that stuff that ⁓ many of us as we expand spiritually, kind of, you know, let go, we leave it in the past. So in fact, religion's great because there's some pearls of wisdom in all the great religions. And in fact, it's amazing to me how much of a common denominator they have. So again, I'll go back to...

Isn't it great that you got stimulated because now it's a chance for you to look at how honest that is. Why am I getting so stimulated about that? Now it's okay to be upset for a while, but move through it, which is something I noticed you do very well. You'll have your 10 minutes of being emotional and, and, ⁓ know, identity, which is, know, so it's cool. Like it's not, I'm not against that. I do too, but it's let's move through it.

to come back to our true feelings, you know, to find the answers or to gain the perspective. There's such a healing in rising above and getting back to, know, I'm here for a short while. I'm here to learn and grow. have spiritual helpers. I want to work with that loving, higher consciousness. And ⁓ everything's temporary. Once I even get that picture, I get back to that big picture.

It's easy to release, you know, the things, the trivia, the trivia. Yeah. It's also interesting too, because coming into a whole week of teaching three different classes in trans healing, that is why this is coming up. Because when we gather together with these other people, these soul to soul, they are from all kinds of different places. And obviously none of us are the same. And so as being someone who's going to actually be teaching and co-instructing the classes,

I want to set a set with spirit that I'm going to be working soul to soul, no matter who walks to the door, whether they're left, right, black, straight, gay, whatever, I'm working with them soul to soul. And I'm not judging what they're coming in looking like or what they are there. You know what what their preferences are back home, it's we're coming together to spiritual work.

And so all these things that happen in our lives day to day, these events that do stimulate us, it's a good opportunity for you listeners to just notice why is this stimulating me? Am I able to actually understand at a certain level or understand awareness of why did when that person do that, I was stimulated because it's for our benefit. Sounds good. Sounds good. Sounds like a wiener.

Well, working soul to soul, you know, they say, ⁓ when you're in business, don't talk politics or religion. there anything else you're not supposed to talk? There's one more thing, politics, religion, and something else. can't think of what it is, but those are the two biggies, but it's always seems like there was a third one. Yeah. It's not sex. it maybe it's sex? No, I don't think it's sex is something else, but I know it's politics and it's religion for sure. And, ⁓ so why.

do people say that? know, well, what I found is, particularly when I was younger, I used to think, hey, we got to go out and talk politics, or I've got to talk religion, you know, and save people and I need to illuminate them and so forth. And is that it's the wrong place. Right? There's a place for everything. If I'm at church, or if I'm in a, a me a political meeting or something like that, or I'm working on that kind of a project.

That's a great time to bring up my ideas or those kinds of things. But if I'm in business, you know, and my job is just to recruit people, or my job is to ⁓ make this widget, or my job is to ⁓ count the little pennies, you know, do the accounting and so forth. It's important that I just stay in the business of what we're trying to do. Yeah, in fact, that's where the fulfillment is. And I can be of service. And ⁓ in fact, it's easier.

It's less stress, it's less wear and tear. ⁓ But I, you know, it's a big area because people will spend a lot of energy. I noticed as you bring this up, what's been on my mind lately is how ⁓ people focus on that, like trying to make a perfect situation, you might say, that fits my likes and dislikes.

rather than what's best for me is more comes from my feelings. I think the, you know, the funny little secret of it all is that it's not hard work to be of service. It's actually more fulfilling, more smooth. It's fun, you know, and then of course, if you're in a toxic environment, well, then we'll, you know, find another thing to do, you know, if you you might have grown out of that opportunity, you know, it's begin to look but do it at your timing and, and ⁓

you know, when you when you feel good about it. Sounds good, Tom. Sounds like a soul to soul win win moment. Yeah, sounds good. Soul to soul, soul to soul. So that is another episode of enthusiastically spiritual. We thank you so much for listening in. And we'll also put the link down below to the to a series of books that the Wayshowers College has. And this one's called true feelings, the center of your world. We'll also put a little discount code down there for you so you can check those out there.

really great books that give insights in a real short pithy way, but they're really like clear and right to the soul. That's all I'll say about it. They're really great. So as you read it, you can ask yourself, well, how do I feel about that? What does that have any truth for me? You might not relate to some of it and some of it you go, wow, that's so true. Exactly. So until next week, just remember that life is too short to not be enthusiastic about your unique.

journey.
